My Experience

When I was a little girl, I loved to sing, dance and perform.  I would put on leotards, tutus, and anything frilly or shiny and make up dances.  I would sit at our organ (we didn't have a piano) and make up songs, singing often quite loudly without even caring who heard me.  My dad even taped together some paneling to make a "stage" for me so I could perform for my family in the living room.  Dance has been a part of my life since I was 3 years old.  I know what it is like to dream about being a beautiful ballerina.  I also know what it feels like to dance in a recital and feel such exhilaration and joy.  That being said, my hope is to instill the love of the beauty of dance in my students.
